12 to 16 year olds must be accompanied on site by an adult but not necessarily on the trail. (Adults on site but not riding do not need a ride pass).
Riding, Push-Ups and Sessioning Sections
Riders should always ride within their ability. Trails are graded according to ability, ensure that you are competent to ride each trail grade. If in doubt, start on the easier trails and work your way up.
Always take your time to learn the tracks. Don't assume you know the trails, even if you have been to the park before. With constant use by riders, maintenance and improvements, features can change over time.
You must never ride or push up a bike track. Only use designated push-ups, all push up tracks are clearly signposted. We know you like to session sections but ensure you keep to the marked tracks. Help us keep the non-trail elements of the woods thriving.
If sessioning a section of trail remember any riders coming through that section have priority and you should move out of their way.
If you are in doubt about a trail feature, stop and look before attempting it. If you need to stop midway down a trail, always move off to the side of the track to give way to riders approaching from behind.
Do not stand anywhere on a trail, particularly on landings or in blind spots & always enter the track at a safe spot, where you have a clear view of any riders coming.
Do not make changes or create shortcuts on the tracks, always ride on waymarked tracks.
Abide by any closed trail signage. If a trail has been closed for maintenance or is still being built, you must not ride the trail. Unfinished sections of trails are very dangerous and there may be people working on the trails with tools and machines. Riding closed trails causes unnecessary damage to the trail surface and can extend the time it needs to remain closed.
Camping
Camping is available at Bike Park Kernow between May and September. This is subject to availability and must be booked in advance. The water from the taps on site can be used for washing and, if boiled, can be used for hot drinks. Please do not drink the water from the taps without boiling as it is from a tank fed system.

If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or have had contact with anyone that has symptoms DO NOT ATTEND. Try to maintain social distancing if queuing on session push-ups, fire roads or anywhere else.
