Join us for lunch from 12:30pm - 1:30pm
This FREE in-person workshop is designed to support higher education educators with practical workflows and teaching approaches for this next phase of creative practice.
Explore the enhanced capabilities available through Creative Cloud Pro Plus, with a focus on Adobe Firefly's generative AI tools and creative workflows. Through practical demonstrations and activities, participants will learn how AI can support ideation, iteration, and production across design, film, and digital media disciplines while preserving creative authorship and disciplinary practice.
What to expect during afternoon
Join us for an afternoon exploring how Adobe Creative Cloud Pro Plus supports university staff and students in creative practice, focusing on Firefly generative AI workflows, key features, and best practices for ideation, iteration, and production across design and motion. Participants will develop AI literacy grounded in ethical and discipline-specific use, and explore how generative AI enhances creative authorship across print, screen, and time-based media workflows.
Sessions will include:
- Generative AI and Ethics: The Evolution of the Digital Creative: Explore how generative AI is transforming creative workflows in higher education, with a focus on AI literacy, ethical practice, and responsible integration into teaching and learning.
- Intro to Adobe CC Pro Plus: Discover enhanced features included in Adobe Creative Cloud Pro Plus including Adobe Stock, Acrobat Studio, and expanded generative AI credits.
- Introduction to Adobe Firefly: Gain hands-on experience using Adobe Firefly for higher education, branding, and packaging design. Explore logo development, mockups, and the Firefly tools and design methodology behind these outcomes.
- Rapid Prototyping for Digital Storytelling with Adobe Firefly & Creative Cloud: Explore rapid digital storytelling prototyping using Adobe Firefly and Creative Cloud tools.
- Wrap up and final Q&A
The day concludes with reflection, discussion on curriculum integration, and final Q&A
Please bring your laptop fully charged - Demo licenses will be provided so you can actively work with Adobe Acrobat Studio and Creative Cloud Pro Plus during the sessions.

Presenter

Matt Dombrowski
Matt is a Professor of Emerging Media and Assistant Director at the University of Central Florida’s (UCF) School of Visual Arts & Design (SVAD) in Orlando, Florida. He aims to empower others through creative practice while delivering arts and cultural impact to underserved communities. Matt has been awarded the UCF Undergraduate Teacher of the Year and the Chuck D. Dziuban Award for Excellence in Online Teaching.
Matt serves as Creative Director of Limbitless Solutions, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower confidence and increase accessibility in the limb difference community through providing art-infused bionics. At Limbitless, he leads developing and producing expressive 3D-printed bionic limbs, interactive alternative controllers, and bionic training video games for children.
Matt strongly believes that the influences and implementation of digital creative practice should be used for the betterment of our society and to help positively shape its future.
