Afternoon Session: Preparing Future Creatives for an Al-powered career - Adobe Firefly & Adobe CC Pro Plus

Focus: Adobe Creative Cloud Pro Plus and Firefly for Teaching and Learning

Join us for lunch from 12:45pm - 1:30pm (participants attending the afternoon session are welcome to arrive at 12:45pm for lunch - afternoon session starts at 1:30pm)

This FREE in-person workshop supports higher education design faculty and academic leaders with practical workflows and teaching strategies for modern creativity.

Explore Adobe Creative Cloud Pro Plus and Adobe Firefly's generative AI tools. Through demonstrations and activities, learn how AI supports ideation, iteration, and production in design, film, and digital media while maintaining creative authorship.

Sessions will include:

  • Generative AI and Ethics: The Evolution of the Digital Creative: Explore how generative AI is transforming creative workflows in higher education, with a focus on AI literacy, ethical practice, and responsible integration into teaching and learning.
  • Intro to Creative Cloud Pro Plus: Discover enhanced features included in Creative Cloud Pro Plus including Adobe Stock, Acrobat Studio, and expanded generative AI credits.
  • Introduction to Firefly: Gain hands-on experience using Firefly for higher education.
  • Rapid Prototyping for Digital Storytelling with Adobe Firefly & Creative Cloud: Explore rapid digital storytelling prototyping using Firefly and Creative Cloud tools.
  • Wrap up and final Q&A
    The day concludes with reflection, discussion on curriculum integration, and final Q&A

Please bring your laptop fully charged - Demo licenses will be provided so you can actively work with Adobe Acrobat Studio and Creative Cloud Pro Plus during the sessions.

C David Schneider

C David Schneider has been an Adobe Education Leader and trainer for 14+ years. His workflow routinely includes Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom, In Design, Illustrator and After Effects.


He taught Digital Media at a highly rated technology magnet high school and is currently the lead instructor for the Digital Media Program at Pinellas Technical College in St. Petersburg, Florida. David regularly delivers professional development for HED educators across the main Adobe Creative Cloud apps.


Schneider graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, worked in corporate communications at a Fortune 500 company, owned his own video production company, and managed radio and television stations in the United States and Puerto Rico. After producing award-winning documentaries in Central Africa and Central America, Schneider earned his MBA and took his years of professional communication experience to the classroom.


In addition to his work with Adobe, Schneider is a Florida Master Digital Educator and served on Florida’s Education Practices Commission.
