ECGX - Edinburgh College Games eXpo 2026

Edinburgh College Games eXpo rides again!

ECGX is the end of year show for both Edinburgh College game dev students and the local game dev community!

Everyone is invited to this free evening! Bring your gang along to play some games, including hot new projects by local indie game developers as well as FE and HE level game dev students from Edinburgh College, and have the opportunity to chat with the devs and share your feedback.

If...

• you're interested in studying game dev and want to know more...
• if you're a hobbyist or game developer and you have wisdom to share...
• if you want to meet some folks in the local game dev community or in game dev education...
• or if you just want to try out some games...

...then this is for you!

There will also be refreshments provided! (Sandwiches, nibbles, soft drinks etc.)

Student Games

Challenged with this year's theme of "Reflections", Edinburgh College students will be presenting the following titles for at the Expo:

Hellspawn, Asymmetrical, Borderline, Explorius, Nummi, Fall of the Hellguard, Mirror Knight, Mirrored Motives, Rhythflections, Hand In Glove, One More Game, Lost Light, One Pawn, Polarity, and Sides of Sable.

Guest Exhibitors

As well as student games from both FE and HN game dev classes, indie developers will showcasing their their latest projects! Come and meet Amicable Animal, Ant Workshop, College Fun Games, Ekenz Games, Ghost Camp, Lowtek, Nocturne Games, and RaoDaoZao!
