Chantelle is also a Labour Town Councillor for Halewood North ward, she is the first Black Woman elected to this position.
Join Chantelle Lunt for a thought-provoking discussion on the pervasive issue of misogynoir and its impact on the lives of Black women and girls. Misogynoir, the intersection of racism and sexism specifically targeting Black women, presents unique challenges across various spheres of society.
Chantelle will delve into the manifestations of misogynoir in schools, the workplace, online spaces, and the healthcare system. From discriminatory practices to microaggressions and systemic biases, she'll explore how misogynoir shapes experiences and perpetuates inequalities for Black women and girls. Chantelle will also examine strategies for fostering environments that are inclusive, equitable, and empowering.
