Join us for Eight Ball Theatre's 1st annual Staged Reading Festival! We are proud to present a three new plays by up-and-coming playwrights.

PROGRAM
12:00pm - Slick, Slimy, Grimy, and Dead by Audrey Hunter
The High Council of Eels gather to plan a funeral for the last European eel, marking the extinction of the species. A comedy about maintaining community under the pressures of climate change.
1:30pm - We Get to Go Back? by Kennedy Niyah Hill
Two siblings, EJ and Omari, get lost in the underworld in this retelling of Orpheus and Eurydice. A comedy/drama about love, time, and the perils of having a sibling.
3:00pm - Buck v. Bell by Gabie Faulkner
The true story of Buck v. Bell, the Supreme Court case that legalized the forced sterilization of "feeble-minded" women. A timely drama about motherhood, power, and hope.
Concessions will be available between plays. There is a small parking lot and street parking available.
