Hopefull Handbags Global is a non-profit organisation that supports survivors of domestic abuse and their children. Founded in 2017 by Cathlene Miner, the charity focuses on helping families rebuild their lives safely and gain long-term stability.
Their work begins with a simple but powerful act: giving a handbag filled with essential items, such as toiletries and sanitary products, to a woman who has just escaped abuse. Often, these survivors leave with nothing but the clothes on their backs, so the handbag provides immediate comfort and dignity.
However, the handbag is just the starting point. Their core mission focuses heavily on what happens after the initial crisis. To support long-term recovery, the charity offers several structured programmes.

I don't want this programme to end, it's so interesting!
Thank you Elaine. Your DISC PROFILING presentation was such an eye-opener. It gave me a much better understanding of how I operate and why, and how others see the world. I’d highly recommend your 6-week DISC Profiling course—it’s such a great way to learn more about yourself and how to work better with the people around you. I’m so glad I completed it.
Very interesting session Elaine! I like the fact that you invite others to share their thoughts, and the training is not a one-sided lecture. For me, besides knowing myself better, the awareness and acceptance that each person is unique is a key take-away. Thank you so much!
I just wanted to reiterate a thank you for not only allowing me to join in your training but also creating an environment that made me feel incredibly safe.
Thank you for the valuable insights in your sessions. It was an eye opener to realise that health complications may arise when we are not being our true selves!
DISCPlus Works with all Types of Coaches
Regardless of whether you are coaching in business, sports, career, teaching, health, or any other sector, your client's core behaviour could be the very thing that is stopping your wonderful coaching or mentoring from succeeding.
When you apply the DISCPlus approach within your toolkit, your results will be off the scale and your clients will love you even more.
Before commencement of the programme, registrants will complete their own complimentary and personal DISCPlus behavioural profile assessment. You will download and review this assessment, arriving curious and ready to engage in deep discussions and enjoy while learning.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this suitable if I already know DISC?
Yes. Even if you are familiar with the four styles, this DISCPlus session focuses specifically on the health and stress patterns linked to each style — something most standard DISC training does not cover in depth.
Do I need to complete a DISC profile beforehand?
No. You can take part fully without one. If you already have a recent profile, feel free to have it to hand, but it is not required. You will be offered a complimentary profile to complete and keep for your own use.
Will there be a recording?
Yes. A replay will be available for 7 days after the live session so you can watch at a time that suits you.
How long is the session?
Approximately 60 minutes, including time for questions.
Is it interactive?
Yes. There will be opportunities to ask questions and discuss real situations. Cameras are optional.
What if I can’t attend live?
You can still book and receive the full replay plus any handouts.
Can I claim this as CPD / professional development?
Many coaches and teachers do. You will receive a confirmation of attendance that you can use for your own records.
What is the difference in price?
There is no difference in quality of the programme for all payment levels.
Who is this not for?
This is not a deep clinical or medical training. It is practical applied insight for people who already support others.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes, if you complete the questions following each session and score at least 80% correct answers
