THRIVE!
Join us for a night of cosy creative community with live music, movement, meditation, mindful conversation and a pop-up alcohol-free bar
How we're thriving on the night...
- Hosts Sami and Sukhi, residents as part of the Making it Happen team, will share a few pieces of music and poetry to warm up the mic, then we have...
- Live music with Elephant Rooms regular visitor Alan Brown. Alan has been playing guitar since 1965, venturing into blues, rock, jazz, funk and fusion over the last 40 years, at Thrive Alan will be sharing some of his solo pieces which naturally emerge as he plays;
- Interludes of open mic opportunities and spaces to move and meditate upstairs with resident yoga teacher, sound therapist and DJ Lucas;
- 'How can we stay rooted amidst a fractured world?' A talk with Saima Majid exploring what it means to cultivate inner rootedness, compassion and open-heartedness in an ever challenging and changing world.
