Elevate Netwalking® Cheshire – Autumn Equinox Walk, Delamere Forest

This month’s walk takes place in the beautiful Delamere Forest, where Elevate Netwalking® first began.

Stepping into the forest offers the opportunity to experience the calming effect of being amongst the trees, which one walker once described as, “I feel like the trees have absorbed my stress.”

Timed around the Autumn Equinox, this walk creates space to pause and notice what feels in balance, what feels full, and what might be ready to be let go of as we move into a new season.

As we move through different environments and conversations, we’ll create space to step away from the busy-ness of everyday life and reconnect with ourselves, others and the outdoors.

As with all Elevate Netwalking® events, the walk is facilitated by a qualified coach and includes gentle coaching prompts and bespoke Elevate Netwalking® coaching cards to invite reflection, conversation and perspective as we walk.

What is Elevate Netwalking®?

I created Elevate Netwalking® because I was looking for a way to connect with other business owners and professionals in a way that felt more natural for me. Less formal networking rooms and more movement, side-by-side conversations and human-first connection.

I needed a way to step away from the busyness of work and day-to-day life and spend a couple of hours outdoors walking, thinking and connecting with others while having the sort of conversations that help you understand the person behind the job title.

Elevate Netwalking® is more than a walk and time out of the office. It’s an intentional space to disconnect from the noise of everyday life and slow down enough to notice what’s going on for both you and those around you.

The networking happens naturally through conversation along the way. There’s no pitching and no forced introductions. Just people with a shared understanding that we need connection, perspective and space away from our to-do lists in order to work and live well.

The walks are facilitated by a qualified coach and include gentle coaching prompts and bespoke Elevate Netwalking® coaching cards to invite reflection on what’s going on for you right now. You’re welcome however you arrive and whatever’s on your mind has space to be explored, rather than fixed or brushed over.

People often come once to try it, then return regularly throughout the year as part of their working rhythm and wellbeing practice. Most leave feeling clearer, calmer and more energised than when they arrived.

What to expect

• Guided group coaching walk
• Relaxed conversation and reflective prompts
• Fresh air, movement and perspective
• 5km circular walk through the forest

The route is approximately 5km with mainly flat terrain. Please wear suitable footwear and clothing for the weather. Walks go ahead in most weather conditions.

Ticket Options

We try to make Elevate Netwalking® as accessible as possible for people to come along regularly and build the walks into their working rhythm and wellbeing practice. As such, we have 3 ticket options available:

• One-Off Walker – £25. Perfect if you’re joining us occasionally or trying Elevate Netwalking® for the first time.
• Community Walker – £15. For those wanting to make Elevate Netwalking® part of their regular rhythm, development and connection throughout the year.
• Supported Place – £5. A small number of supported places are available for those in the early stages of building a business or where finances may currently be a barrier to attending regularly.

A few more things…

• You’ll receive full joining details and a pre-event information form after booking
• Exact routes may vary slightly depending on the group and conditions on the day
• Elevate Netwalking® is inclusive and welcoming - you don’t need to be a seasoned hiker, just comfortable walking at a steady pace for a couple of hours
• We pick up litter where appropriate as part of caring for the spaces we walk in
• 10% of ticket sales are donated to Cheshire Wildlife Trust to support conservation across Cheshire
