HUMAN is a brand-new recording of Eliot Smith's acclaimed work, performed by Yamit Salazar, a finalist for Performing Artist of the Year at the North East Culture Awards 2023, and set to music by the multi-award-winning composer Adam Johnson. This solo invites audiences to experience a unique blend of cutting-edge contemporary movement, evocative folklore, and high-energy commercial dance. HUMAN explosively portrays the evolution of humanity, from the primal stirrings of consciousness to modern life dominated by technology.
