Elizabeth's Group

Elizabeth’s Group in Congleton is a small but dedicated charitable organisation founded in 2018, committed to spreading awareness of Elizabeth Wolstenholme Elmy's legacy.

We work locally, nationally, and internationally to promote her pioneering work for women’s rights, especially women’s suffrage, girls’ education and property rights.

Our projects include educational programmes, heritage trails, public talks, events and fundraising.
