The Ella Dawson Foundation:
Founded in 2022, the Ella Dawson Foundation was established as a legacy to Ella Dawson and the life she lived so well and to continue the work she started in helping other young people diagnosed with cancer.
"I just wanted to put out there something that I felt was missing, to prove not all is lost when you have been diagnosed with cancer" Ella Dawson, 2020
Since our launch in 2022, we have provided much needed support to over 350 young people with cancer and their families... but there is still so much to do. A cancer diagnosis as a young person often means life stops in its tracks and is turned upside down. Our wellbeing support packages fund multiple sessions tailored to the unique needs of each young person. Our service has been described as ‘life changing’ and supports long term physical and emotional health through and beyond cancer. Your attendance at our ball and participation in fundraising on the evening can ensure our support reaches more young people facing cancer.
"Life changing. Helped me come back to the person I felt I was losing"
How we help:
The Ella Dawson Foundation works alongside a team of experts to enable young adults, aged 18-30 yrs old, and their families and carers access to tailored psychological, emotional, physical, and nutritional wellbeing support packages at any stage of their cancer diagnosis within a safe, supporting and likeminded community.
