The Dartford Bear Hunt Auction

Join us for the grand finale of an epic Art Trail – it’s time for the Dartford Bear Hunt Auction!

This is your chance to bid on one of the beautiful Bear Sculptures that you have seen throughout Dartford and Bluewater this summer. You could take one home to become the centrepiece of your garden, the focal point of your office or reception area, or perhaps bid with the intention of gifting it to a community group or space in your area.

The Grand Finale Auction

Join us for a spectacular evening celebrating the Dartford Bear Hunt, as we bring together an incredible collection of sculptural works of art for our Grand Finale Auction.

With 34 unique lots going under the hammer, there’s something for every Bear Hunt fan — and who knows, with the right bid, one of them could be coming home with you (well, delivered to you shortly after the auction!).

Please note: All large sculptures will have a starting bid of £3,000.

The auction will feature:

• 28 large Bears from the trail, each uniquely designed and decorated by a talented artist
• 1 beautiful Book Bench
• 2 uniquely designed Bear Cubs
• 3 blank Bear Cubs, each with a trail artist commission, giving you the opportunity to create the Bear Cub of your dreams

The evening will be a celebration of the incredible creativity behind the trail, with the chance to admire the artwork, meet some of the artists and, of course, bid on your favourite lots.

Doors open at 6pm, giving you plenty of time to explore the sculptures and decide which ones you’ll be bidding for before the hammer starts falling.

Your ticket includes welcome drinks and table wine, generously provided by our Auction Partner Silverhand Estate. You will also be treated to sharing platters at your table. Tickets are available to purchase individually or in tables of 8.

Due to limited capacity, tickets for this special evening are available to sponsors, partners and Bear Hunt supporters looking to take part in the auction. 

Getting here

This event is taking place at the Bluewater Village Marquee, just outside the main Bluewater Shopping Centre.

Closest parking can be found for free in the Village Car Park, which is to the west of the centre and indicated by blue signage.
