25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a musical full of quirky characters, hilarious moments, and lots of heart. Featuring a fast-paced, wildly funny, and touching book by Rachel Sheinkin and a truly fresh and vibrant score by William Finn, you’ll watch as a group of awkward tweens compete for the title of spelling champ, all while navigating their own personal challenges. Performances will take place:

• Friday, March 28 at 7:30 PM

• Saturday, March 29 at 2pm and 7:30pm

• Sunday, March 30 at 2:00 PM

Free for Elmira College students and employees, and young people 17 and under.
Adults: $5

Parking
Parking is available for free on the Elmira College Campus in any lot. Be mindful that you do not park in a spot with a "RESERVED Parking" sign. The majority of EC parking lots are located on 5th Street between Davis and Park Place. The lots closer to Park Place are typically quicker access to walk to Gibson Theatre. ADDITIONAL parking may be available on 7th Street between Davis and Park Place, and there is another (farther away) EC parking lot on Davis at the corner of 7th Street.

For PATRONS in need of DROP OFF or PICK UP closer to the theatre, there is an inlet/small lot on 7th Street (between Davis and Park Place), behind the Campus Center/nearer the Gibson Theatre via the Speidel Gymnasium building entrance.
