Free BIKE MOT
A Fix session (also known as a Dr Bike session) is part of The Big Bike Revival, a national programme from Cycling UK that offers free, friendly cycling support in local communities.
Drop your bike off at the agreed time and we'll do an MOT. We'll aim to fix any issues and if there;'s anything major to be done, point you in the right direction for help. The aim is to get you get back on two wheels safely.
What should you bring:
* Your bike – (only one bike per slot)
* Any spare parts you already have (e.g. brake pads or a chain)
* Yourself – and any questions you’ve got
You don’t need any tools or cycling experience – we provide everything that’s required.
Refreshment are available if you want to stick around and chat whilst we do the MOT.
Who is it for?
Free bike repair sessions are for any adult who wants support with their bike. They’re especially helpful if you:
* Haven’t ridden in a while
* Aren’t sure if your bike is safe
* Are just starting out with cycling
* Want to save money on transport
You don’t need to be a confident cyclist – The Big Bike Revival is here to help people at all levels feel comfortable and welcome.
