Holcombe Alphorn Duo and Brass Quartet

Come and experience the beauty of the Swiss alphorn in a unique concert and possible first for Ely!

The Holcombe Alphorn Duo present a varied programme of traditional Swiss tunes alongside more modern repertoire. They are joined by a professional brass quartet to collaborate together. The brass quartet will also present music by Handel and Gabrieli to enjoy. The duo will also explain the history of their incredible instruments and how they are so deeply rooted in Swiss culture. This promises to be a wonderful concert in the beautiful acoustic of St Mary’s Church in Ely. Look out for the alphorns appearing around Ely too!
