Wilburton FOREST Sunset Sound Bath

Sun 6 Sep 2026 6:15 PM - 8:00 PM Wilburton Forest, CB6 3RG

Welcome to my sound bath offerings!

My name is Laura and I am a Sound Healer and Music Therapist.

This event is a very special sound bath experience held in Butterflies Forest School's private forest on Haddenham Road. PLEASE NOTE the map does not take you to the exact location,  you need to meet at Hinton Hall Lane, at the end nearest the triangle. Please do not park on Hinton road or on the triangle but find parking in Haddenham and walk to this spot.

What instruments do we use?

Sound Baths are an opportunity for you to relax and unwind in a comfortable and holistic space surrounded by the healing vibrations of a variety of instruments. In my practice I focus on using crystal singing bowls, Tibetan metal singing bowls, koshi chimes, Ocean drums, rainsticks, kenari chimes, sonic energy flow chimes, dragon energy tubes and other relaxing sounds to help aid meditation and full body healing.

What happens at this session?

Sessions take place in groups with each individual finding a comfortable lying position where you can snuggle up under a blanket. Each session begins with a short guided meditation before the sound bath begins then we let the vibrations of the instruments do their work as they encourage our brains to sink into the alpha and theta brainwave states where our nervous system can truly relax and re-set.

The Forest

This sound bath takes place under a beautiful Forest Canopy, around the campfire, and if you choose, under a large fabric canopy in the trees. There are also some hammocks set up in the trees and a raised netted area in the trees also. I will bring plenty of yoga, air and cushioned mats for you to borrow but you can also choose to bring your own.  You can decide on your favourite space to relax in on your arrival. We will rest with nature as the birds and natural sounds of the forest weave in and out of our instruments. This is sure to be a magical experience uniting earth's vibrations with our instruments'.

We will end the sound bath with toasted marshmallows over the fire and a hot drink, a lovely way to unite our experiences and ground ourselves.

There is a porta loo on site if needed.

The Weather

This event will take place no matter the weather unless we are expecting torrential downpours or storms. If there is light drizzle or rain it will still be a beautiful experience under the fabric canopy to keep ourselves dry and there are lots of tarps available too. I will send a absolute confirmation email a couple of days before the event. Tickets are non refundable, but will be refunded in full if I cancel the event for any reason or switch your booking to another future forest sound bath when we have another date.

Suitability

As sessions generally take place lying down do consider if this session will be suitable for you. You also need to be able to make the walk along the fields and through the forest on arrival and exiting, so this venue is unfortunately unsuitable for wheelchairs.

If you have a pacemaker fitted, for your own safety, this session is not suitable as the vibrations can be quite intense. If you are pregnant these sessions are suitable after 20 weeks. This session is only suitable for ages 14+ as the vibrations have a strong effect on the body, inducing alpha brain waves, aiding sleep and relaxation and this can be more overwhelming on younger individuals, if you've been before with a youngster and i've approved their attendance to the adult sessions feel free to go ahead and book.

Venue Details and Accessing the Forest

The forest location sits right on the edge of Wilburton (closest to Haddenham) and is only accessible on foot via the public footpath that runs alongside it. Because of this, Sarah-Jane from Butterflies Forest School will meet you in Haddenham on Hinton Hall Lane and walk you into the woods, a short 7-minute distance along the footpath to the woodland site. There are no roads to cross from the meeting point, the walk runs along the back of the field only.

Please meet where the smiley face is on the map:

There is a very small amount of parking available a little closer on Haddenham road (this is not marked on any map) if you are unable to walk the 7 minutes, please contact me and I will give you directions to exactly where this is but we would like the majority to walk along the fields with Sarah as it will be such a pleasant entry walking together into the woods from this entrance.

Do join our whatsapp group where I can answer any questions on this and share videos of the area: https://chat.whatsapp.com/J5tGwqTej982xShGivFDAu

You will need to be at the meeting point no later than 6.15pm so that you can walk along together and be shown the entrance. If you arrive after this time you will need to find your way into the forest yourself from maps and video i'll share soon.

The sound bath will start at 6.30 p.m. once everyone is settled and will last approx 1.5hrs, we then have some time to relax with a cuppa and marshmallows!

Additional tickets may become available closer to the time if we are certain it will be a dry event, then we can spread out in the forest <3

What should I bring?

Please bring a raincoat/waterproofs if we do not have absolute certainty on it being a dry evening. Please bring a bottle of water with you as you will be advised to drink a good amount after the session as your body will be flushing out toxins, and good hydration helps to avoid headaches as your body detoxes. Also feel free to bring a light snack if you wish to eat around the campfire, marshmallows will be provided tho I cannot guarantee what type if you have any dietary requirements, you are welcome to bring an alternative if you wish.

I always have some pillows and blankets available but please feel free to bring along your own to be extra comfortable.

We hope you thoroughly enjoy your time in the forest at this, our first ever forest event!

I look forward to seeing you at a Sound Bath Meditation session in the future! If you have any questions you can contact me at sakuraholistics@hotmail.com, follow me on instagram at Sakura Holistics or follow me on facebook at Ely Sound Bath Therapy.

Best wishes and healing vibrations, Laura x
