Embley Sixth Form Open Evening

A fantastic opportunity for students and parents to gain a real sense of life in our Sixth Form by hearing from the people that make it. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to talk to our Heads of Department about specific subjects and combinations of subjects based on interests, academic strength, university pathways and career aspirations. You will also be able to speak to staff about scholarship opportunities. 

The evening also includes:

• Talks from our Directors of Sixth Form about academic focus and tailored coaching and mentoring support.
• Tours of our Sixth Form facilities.
• Panel discussions with current students about Sixth Form life and preparing for university.

The format of the evening is as follows:

5:30pm to 7:30pm – Sixth Form Options Fair (Atherley Hall)
Heads of Department and A Level students will be available to discuss the subjects available, different subject combinations and university and career pathways.

6:00pm - An Introduction to Embley Sixth Form Presentation (Atherley Hall)
Our Directors of Sixth Form will talk to students and parents about making A Level choices and how to prepare for the Sixth Form.

6:30pm – Sixth Form Life (Performing Arts Centre)
A panel discussion and Q&A with current Year 12 and 13 students and alumni.
