You are invited to an EXCLUSIVE Arabic Calligraphy Workshops at one of London's gems, NOUR in E17.

Our intention since inception of EMERALD is to collaborate and connect the community artists and businesses.We are super excited to host a workshop by Nayab Ahmed at NOUR - a gem of a cafe that deserves to be celebrated, perfect for the discerning Muslim professional who appreciates both the detail in food, and the delightful decor. 

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Nayab Ahmed is a London-based Calligraphy and Lettering Artist, Designer and Founder of Studio Nay. Her work is rooted in craftsmanship and human connection.

Having started Modern Calligraphy as a child and later Arabic, and since held many workshops around London teaching the art of hand lettering using dip pen and ink technique and Arabic, she believes sharing the art of Calligraphy and making it accessible is important - we are delighted to have her deliver an exclusive intro Workshop! 

TERMS OF BOOKING

• DRESS CODE – Modest smart / casual 
• FOOD/DRINK – Halal (if you have any allergies please liaise with venue staff on arrival) - place order on arrival (pay as you go)
• SEATING - no reserved seating, first come basis
• PRAYER FACILITIES - space for prayer mat available (note it will be in the cafe area)
• NO REFUNDS - unless in the instance of event being cancelled 
• FILMING / PHOTOGRAPHY - will be coverage during the evening for social media and promotional purposes
• DIRECTIONS - short walk from Walthamstow Central station
