The People’s Emergency Briefing on Climate and Nature

What’s happening with climate and nature, and what does it mean for everyday life in the UK?
Join us for a screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing – an eye-opening film introduced by Chris Packham that brings together nine leading UK scientists and experts with the latest evidence and why it matters for things like:
🌧️ Extreme weather
🍞 Food security
🏥 Health
💷 Cost of living
The film has been created by The National Emergency Briefing, who are supported by organisations including the National Trust, Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust and CPRE. It’s being screened in communities across the UK, as part of a nationwide initiative to raise awareness and stimulate meaningful action.
The film will be followed by a discussion and opportunities for action.
Screening start times : 2.30pm & 7.30pm. Doors open 30 minutes before each screening when tea/coffee will be available – please bring your own cup if possible. Note: Cash only as we are unable to accept card payments.
Our local MP, Roz Savage, is booked to attend the evening screening (subject to parliamentary business).
Everyone over 15 is welcome.
