With her diverse musical upbringing as the granddaughter of Dame Cleo Laine and Sir John Dankworth, Emily Dankworth’s melodic and expressive voice was forged from an early age.
From Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club and The Barbican in London to the Lincoln Centre in New York and Boston Symphony Hall, Emily has performed all over the world and collaborated with many legendary artists, including the likes of Grammy and Pulitzer-winning trumpeter Wynton Marsalis, Chineke String Quartet, and producer/guitarist Jamie McCredie (Roisin Murphy). Emily has been featured on BBC Radio and BBC Television including The Paul O'Grady Show, BBC Radio 2, The One Show, BBC One, Ronnie Scotts' Radio Show, and JAZZ FM.
