A practical three hour masterclass to help you deliver a short pitch with a clearer voice, steadier pace and greater presence.

You know your material inside out. However, when it’s time to speak, do you find yourself rushing, cramming in too much, or losing your central message? 

Pitch with Presence is a practical, supportive masterclass to help you speak about your work with more clarity and impact.

We will use a short pitch as our starting point, but what you learn will also help in meetings, interviews, presentations and everyday business conversations.

During the morning, we will work with breath, stance, pace, pauses and the sound of your voice. You’ll have time to try the techniques with your own words and notice which changes make your message easier to hear and remember.

Who is it for?

This masterclass is for business owners and professionals who need to explain what they do or put an idea across. You do not need speaking experience or a finished pitch to take part.

What should I expect?

This is a practical, friendly masterclass where you’ll try out techniques as we go. We will work on how you use your breath, body and voice when you pitch, and there’ll be some movement around the room. Please wear something you feel comfortable moving in. You will be invited to take part, but you won’t be put on the spot without warning.

Frequently asked questions...

Do I need to prepare a pitch?

You do not need a finished pitch. If you have one, bring it along. Otherwise, come with a few words or sentences about something you would like to include. We will focus on how you deliver your message rather than writing the pitch itself.

Will I have to speak in front of everyone?

There will be opportunities to practise, but you won’t be called on without warning. You can take part at a level that feels manageable for you.

Is this only for business owners?

No. It’s also useful if you need to put an idea across in meetings, interviews or presentations.

What should I bring?

Bring something to write with. If you have a pitch you’d like to work on, bring that too.

Is parking available?

Yes. Free parking is available at Albrighton Hall.

Is the venue accessible?

Albrighton Hall has disabled access. If you have a particular access requirement, please contact me before the event so I can check the arrangements with the venue.

Will refreshments be provided?

Yes. Tea, coffee and mini pastries will be provided.
