Spring Module: Doctrine of God: Gazing at God in Worship

Who is God—and how does knowing him change everything?

Join us online for eight Monday evenings of exploring the wonder of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

No qualifications needed—just a heart hungry to go deeper. This module will help you answer tough questions about God’s existence, understand the beauty of the Trinity, and grow in worship that shapes daily life.

Come and be drawn into a bigger vision of God—and be changed by it!

By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

  1. Form an apologetic for the existence of God and the uniqueness of Christ.
  2. Articulate key truths about the Trinity: Father, Son, and Spirit.
  3. Understand divine attributes such as holiness, love, and justice.
  4. Engage with historical and contemporary debates about God’s nature.
  5. Experience worship of Jesus more fully as a response to who God is.

ABOUT POP-UP THEOLOGY

Pop-Up Theology is born from a deep conviction that engaging with theology is a priority for all Christians, not the few. We study theology to know and love God more and to share our faith with confidence. At Emmanuel Theological College we believe theology should be accessible to everyone, without geographical, academic, social, or economic barriers. The college exists to equip the whole people of God for the whole mission of God. Pop-up Theology is designed so that everyone can gain confidence in their ability to engage with theological study, even those who may have not previously thought it possible. Offered as a modular Monday evening programme on zoom, with both class and small-group discussions in the interactive teaching led by Emmanuel Theological College staff, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow in your knowledge of and love for the Lord and be better equipped to serve his purpose in your locality.

WHEN AND HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?
Sixteen hours of contact time over eight Monday Evenings, starting Monday 12th January 2026, and concluding on Monday 16th March 2026 (excluding college half term, 9th and 16th February 2026).

The teaching sessions are led by a range of Emmanuel Theological College staff using a variety of methods including presentations, group discussions, Q&A sessions and more in two-hour sessions on Monday evenings. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow in your knowledge of and love for the Lord and be better equipped to serve his purpose in your locality.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The cost for the whole module is £50 per person, payable as you book. This equates to £6.25 per 2-hour session.
