Start out the 2023 season at Old Cowtown Museum with the Empire House Players and an old-fashioned melodrama!In "The Treasure of Shiver River...", the nasty scoundrel Rod Enreel and his romance novel-loving partner-in-crime, Paige Turner, are trying to take over the Shiver River Ranch and find the rumored hidden treasure! Meanwhile, Colonel Sanders is trying to stop him by selling his cattle to come up with the mortgage money. The heroic Marshal Marshall Law is also there trying to propose to our heroine Heidi Claire, the colonel’s daughter, but there's something standing in his way!Come check out all the antics of a pirate queen, a semi-reformed gambler, and even an auctioneer who’s tricked into thinking he’s a dog by a con artist!We can't wait to see you there!
