The Silver Shedding Day Retreat

You are invited to join Lynda and Lucy in Avebury for a grounding day tuning into the natural energy of late Autumn, the moment harvest releases its final breath. Are you feeling the call to take time to connect and equilibrate with the environment and the seasons? When we allow ourselves to align with the natural rhythms that guide our biology, life can flow with more ease. This is the last opportunity in the Year of the Fire Horse to lay down your resources before the descent into Winter. Throughout the day we will connect with the land, our inner landscape, and share seasonally designed practices, treats and explore the wonder of functional mushrooms.

In Chinese wisdom, Autumn is ruled by the Metal element and the emotions of grief and letting go. As the leaves fall in earnest, it's an ideal time for us to shed what no longer serves, creating space and capacity as we tread our paths forward with a quiet sense of self-worth.

• Opening ceremony; settle into the space with warming infusions, grounding mediation, journaling for clarity and intention setting.

• Moving Meditation (Qi Gong) among the stones, to ground connect to the body and release (weather permitting)

• Seasonal Functional Mushroom Workshop, with an opportunity to sample products.

• Detoxifying Acupuncture Soundbath with Ear Acupuncture or Ear Seeds - This powerful combination supports release, allowing you to fully integrate the healing energies of the day.

• You'll leave with a small gift, a tangible thread back to the day's practices and wisdom.

• Seasonal treats, snacks, infusions and healthy lunch included.

• Additional option to join the host and attendees for a social meal post retreat at The Burj, Indian Restaurant (not included in retreat cost).

Your Hosts

Lynda has spent the last 20 years helping others to shine their light in the world and live a life of inspired action, self love and joy . She is qualified in hypnotherapy, sound healing, regression therapy, inner child healing, reiki and life coaching with a passion for essential oils and nature. As a mother of 2 teens, she understands the demands and rewards of balancing a busy life in a way that feels aligned to one’s values.

Lucy is a fully certified, licensed, and insured Acupuncturist who owns a private practice “Appleyard Acu” providing East Asian Medicine; Acupuncture, Fire Cupping, E-Stim, Ear Seeds & Gua Sha. Lucy is a member of the Acupuncture Association and is affiliated to the Acupuncture Federation. The treatments Lucy provides are designed and delivered to meet the lifestyle and needs of modern people. In addition to her 1:1 work Lucy also provides treatments to groups at events and festivals.
