Roots of Remembrance: Honouring our Ancestors Retreat Evening

As we journey deeper into Autumn, following Samhain, and the veil between worlds is said to be at its thinnest, I invite you to gather around the 'fire' for a gentle evening of remembrance, gratitude and connection.

Inspired by the ancient Yew tree, a symbol of strength, wisdom and everlasting life, we'll take time to honour those who walked before us, reconnect with our roots and open ourselves to the gifts and wisdom of our ancestors alongside our own inner knowing. Through sound, scent and meditation we will call forward insights, healing and support.

Opening Grounding & Tree-Guided Meditation
Settle into stillness as you journey with the Yew tree, connecting with its deep roots and timeless wisdom to receive guidance, strength, and calm from your ancestors and your own inner knowing.

Immersive Drum and Gong-Centred Soundbath
The steady rhythm of the drum and the deep resonance of the gong carry you through a portal and into deep connection with the heartbeat of the earth and messages from your lineage.  Supported by crystal bowls, golden chalice, and chimes to harmonise body and spirit.

Aromatic Alchemy with Essential Oils
A grounding and heart-centred essential oil blend intuitively selected will be offered for self-massage as a ritual of connection, remembrance, and honouring your lineage.

Closing Sharing Circle & Herbal Infusion
Integrate your experience with optional reflections in circle and nourish body and spirit with a warming herbal infusion and homemade treats lovingly made for this season.
