emShakes Theatre Company presents A Streetcar Named Desire. 

A Streetcar Named Desire is a 20th-century play turned classic by famous playwright Tennessee Williams. It follows Blanche DuBois as she arrives at her sister Stella’s home in New Orleans after losing their family home in Laurel, Mississippi. As Blanche and her sister’s husband Stanley Kowalski continuously clash, we see Blanche’s obvious and long-brewing descent into madness.

A Streetcar Named Desire portrays sensitive topics including:
