Enchantica’s Father Christmas Experience at Allerton Castle

Long ago, when the world was still young, there was a secret castle hidden deep in the Yorkshire countryside. This was no ordinary castle — its halls shimmered with enchantment, and its towers touched the winter sky. It was said the castle’s great stone walls could hold the warmth of a thousand hearths, keeping the magic of Christmas safe year after year.

Father Christmas discovered this place many centuries ago on one of his journeys. He saw that the castle was strong enough to protect his most precious treasures — the dreams and wishes of children everywhere. From that day on, whenever Christmas drew near, Father Christmas and his elves would travel from the North Pole to the Christmas Castle.

Here, elves set up their workshop in the grand halls, filling them with laughter, music, and the sparkle of toy-making magic. The castle becomes a place where stories come alive, wishes are whispered, and the spirit of Christmas grows brighter with every passing moment.

You are now invited into this magical home — to step through the castle doors and see for yourself the wonder that Father Christmas and his elves have kept safe for generations.

As you enter the Grand Hall, the castle sparkles with twinkling lights, festive music, and the joyful sounds of Christmas magic all around. From the very first moment, guests are welcomed into an immersive world of wonder, excitement, and imagination.

Upon arrival, children register with Santa’s cheerful elves and begin completing their very own Elf Journals — a magical companion that guides them through the adventure ahead. Filled with playful activities focused on kindness, creativity, and festive joy, each child collects special elf stamps throughout the day before taking their journal home as a keepsake of their experience.

As the excitement builds, Santa makes his grand arrival into the Great Hall, where families are welcomed together for a magical castle greeting filled with singing, laughter, and festive celebration before the Elf Training officially begins.

Guided by Santa’s twinkling elves, children journey through a series of enchanting elf tasks and interactive experiences hidden throughout the castle. In the Toy Workshop, little helpers assist in preparing magical gifts ready for Christmas deliveries around the world. Tiny hands help bring festive magic to life as toys are carefully prepared beneath sparkling decorations and glowing lights.

The adventure continues through the magical Castle Post Office, where children help sort special Christmas letters and messages before discovering the glowing Enchanted Wishing Tree. Here, children are invited to make heartfelt wishes for themselves and others, adding another layer of wonder to the experience.

The journey then leads families into the glittering Ballroom for Father Christmas’ magical Elf Sing-Along Show — a joyful festive celebration filled with music, laughter, dancing, and magical surprises hosted by Santa and his merry friends.

Following the show, every child receives a magical wooden coin gifted personally by Father Christmas. They are then invited to exchange their coin for a special gift from beneath the Castle Christmas Tree, creating a truly memorable moment of Christmas magic.

Before departing, families can capture a final festive keepsake beside Santa’s sleigh against the sparkling backdrop of the castle grounds — the perfect ending to a magical Christmas adventure.

*Babes in arms up to 12 months old are welcome free of charge if accompanying older siblings and will need to be carried or on a lap throughout the experience as they will not be allocated seating. Please note, if you'd like your little one to receive a certificate, Christmas gift and full grotto visit, please order a child ticket for them.

Please note - ALL adults attending require a ticket. All children need to be accompanied by an adult. We promise that all adults will enjoy the show just as much as the kids!

A £2.50 transaction fee will be added to your booking at checkout.

The whole experience lasts approximately 90 - 130 minutes (depending on your Santa visit slot) including your Elf welcome, magical journey through the castle, our festive sing-along show and of course, meeting Father Christmas. Our elves will be providing magical entertainment to any families awaiting their turn with Father Christmas at the end of the show.
