Feel drawn to working with clients facing serious illness or bereavement but unsure how to begin?
This specialist training builds your confidence to work safely, ethically and compassionately with young adults whose lives have been disrupted by diagnosis, uncertainty and loss.
What you'll gain:
- Confidence working with cancer, palliative illness and grief
- Insight into the impact of diagnosis in young adulthood
- Approaches to anticipatory grief, uncertainty and difficult conversations
- Understanding of family/relational dynamics and ethical practice
Suitable for qualified counsellors and therapists — no prior hospice/oncology experience required.
Training equates to 10 hours CPD
