FAQ
I have pre booked a ticket but might be arriving later than my time slot, can I still use the ticket?
Yes, the ticket can be used throughout the day, it will give you priority entry at your chosen time slot, but there maybe a longer wait out of your chosen time slot
I'm not sure what time we can come so haven't bought a ticket, can we pay on the day?
Yes, you'll be able to pay in cash or card on the door on the day for the same price of £2 per person, 18 and under can get in for free, there maybe a longer wait as ticket holders will be given priority.
Is the venue accessible?
Baltic has a lift direct to level one where we will be hosting the event, or can be reached via stairs found to the right of the lifts. There are accessible toilets on the same floor near the entrance of the market and also benches along the outside for a rest bite.
Can I bring my dog?
The Gallery welcomes assistant dogs only.
Will there be food?
The market itself is art and craft only, though Baltic will have a mini cafe set up alongside the market, there is also Baltic restaurant or cafe on the other floors.
Are tickets limited, I came one year and there was quite a wait?
Yes from feedback and a very busy introduction to the Baltic we quickly changed things up and now have very limited ticket availability so those who buy tickets can be given priority. We are opening an hour earlier this year to spread the footfall out, and if you prefer a shorter wait we found these times to be quieter, Opening 10am, 1pm - 2pm and 4pm - 5pm.
Who is this Market for?
The Market has been curated to suit a variety of price points, you will find pieces from £2 all the way to £200 in the space, there will be a variety of crafts and always suggest to visit our website directories to get a sense of who will be joining us, the work is always high spec and contemporary.
I'm a maker and would love to join the market, who do I message?
Our winter markets are fully booked, to join us at a future market we suggest joining the maker mailing list which can be found here
