An impromptu talk for 40 minutes to an hour with Q & A's throughout by a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts, Eddie Haworth aka Dr Percey Veer.

Join Eddie, globe trotting adventurer and cheerful bringer of buffoonery, as he shares wild, weird and wonderful tales from 45 years on the road.

From the frozen wastes of Lapland (-40 degrees) to the scorching sands of the Middle East (+50 degrees) Eddie's stories stretch from Bolton to Bombay, Southport to Shanghai, Manhattan to Liverpool's, Brookside Close, and across Europe, Scandinavia, and two decades in South East Asia.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Hair raising and hilarious encounters, including aircraft engine failure and full emergency landing, being held at gunpoint, earthquake and making the one and only Robin Williams fall-down laughing in a circus tent in Southport!

Cultural eye openers in far flung lands and a surprise reverse culture shock in the UK. 

Travel disasters, unlikely friendships and a fair bit of buffoonery.
