Lino Printing Workshop - Choose Your Own Item

Fri 6 Nov, 6–8pm. Upstairs at Enki (30 High Street, Kings Heath) £35 for greeting cards, bookmarks or gift tags, £40 for a tea towel or tote bag.

In this one-off class, come and learn how to carve designs into lino, and use it to print onto a product of your choice. Make your own set of stamps to create repeat patterns, or carve an intricate design and print it as a block.

This festive 2-hour session includes hands-on tuition, all the tools and materials you'll need, and physical examples and printed inspiration, plus mulled apple juice and our customer favourite Christmas treat, Lebkuchen! If you fancy an alcoholic drink, feel free to bring a bottle. We have glasses, bottle openers etc.

This class is suited to total beginners. It's always fun to see self-declared "non-crafty" people leave with something they've made and a new crafty identity! And if you've got some experience already, we're happy to set you a bit more of a challenge.

It's a fun and relaxed workshop, and would make a lovely gift for yourself or someone special in your life.

Good to know:

• The class starts at 6pm on the dot, so it's worth arriving five minutes early to get settled in, and we can make you a cuppa. It runs until 8pm.
• Lino cutters are very sharp, so this class is for ages 15 and over, and under-16s need to come with an adult.
• The workshop is upstairs. If you have any trouble with stairs, please arrive a little earlier and let us know, and we'll be happy to help.
• If not enough people book, we'll move you to another date or give you a full refund. Can't make it? You're welcome to send a friend in your place.

Don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions!
