Needle Felted Christmas Bauble

Thu 5 Nov, 6–8pm. Upstairs at Enki (30 High Street, Kings Heath) £35.

Needle felting is an addictive craft that's easy to pick up. We'll use 100% wool to sculpt a beautiful needle-felted bauble to hang on your tree.

This festive 2-hour session includes hands-on tuition and all the tools and materials you'll need to make your bauble, plus mulled apple juice and our customer favourite Christmas treat, Lebkuchen! If you fancy an alcoholic drink, feel free to bring a bottle. We have glasses, bottle openers etc.

This class is suited to total beginners. It's always fun to see self-declared "non-crafty" people leave with something they've made and a new crafty identity! And if you've got some experience already, Hannah's happy to set you a bit more of a challenge.

It makes a lovely treat for yourself, or a gift for someone who'd enjoy an evening of making.

Your tutor: Hannah has taught secondary and A Level Art and Textiles for 11 years. She's an experienced crafter who can turn her hand to anything, and loves sharing her skills with others.

Good to know:

• The class starts at 6pm on the dot, so it's worth arriving five minutes early to get settled in, and we can make you a cuppa. It runs until 8pm.
• Felting needles are very sharp, so this class is for ages 15 and over, and under-16s need to come with an adult.
• The workshop is upstairs. If you have any trouble with stairs, please arrive a little earlier and let us know, and we'll be happy to help.
• If not enough people book, we'll move you to another date or give you a full refund. Can't make it? You're welcome to send a friend in your place.
