Make your own Christmas Crackers

Thu 10 Dec, 6–8pm. Upstairs at Enki (30 High Street, Kings Heath) £35.

Design, personalise and fill your own crackers! You'll make a set of six crackers from scratch, perfectly suited to your Christmas table. And if you can't bear another Christmas pun or another random miniature comb or giant paperclip, this is your chance to fill them with gifts and jokes people will actually appreciate.

We'll provide a chocolate, a sticker (of your choice from our extensive collection!), a hat and a joke for each cracker, but if you'd like to bring any extra cracker-sized gifts, please go ahead! If your table is larger than six, we can give you the template so you can make the extra ones at home.

This festive 2-hour session includes hands-on tuition and all the tools and materials you'll need, plus mulled apple juice and our customer favourite Christmas treat, Lebkuchen!

This class is suited to total beginners. It's always fun to see self-declared "non-crafty" people leave with something they've made and a new crafty identity! And if you've got some experience already, Hannah's happy to set you a bit more of a challenge.

It makes a lovely treat for yourself, or a gift for someone who'd enjoy an evening of making.

Your tutor: Hannah has taught secondary and A Level Art and Textiles for 11 years. She's an experienced crafter who can turn her hand to anything, and loves sharing her skills with others.
