About this Webinar
In honour of the age-old celebration of love on Valentine's Day, Enneagram Alive is thrilled to have Rosemary Cowan, renowned Enneagram Teacher and couples counsellor, present this webinar on the relevance of the Enneagram in growing and maintaining happy relationhips.
Rosemary writes:
"My answer to this question (Are you my Type, Am I yours?), as a couples’ counsellor who uses the Enneagram in her work, is that all type combinations work, but only if the couple have positive regard for each other’s differences and learn to negotiate subconscious reactions. Knowing your Enneagram types also brings lightness and fun into the dynamic because we stop taking our partner’s style so personally and understand that it’s all about them (just as it’s all about us when it comes to our ‘stuff’)".
Falling in love is universal - as is falling out of love. This workshop will provide insight into what is going on at an unconscious level and investigate the common belief that ‘there’s a perfect person out there who’s meant for me’, plus the extent to which this is true, but maybe not in the way you think. This insight re-frames intimate relationships giving a greater understanding of what it really means to fall in love.
Rosemary Cowan trained as an Enneagram Teacher with Helen Palmer and Dr David Daniels and qualified in 2003. She is a UKCP registered Transpersonal Psychotherapist and Couples’ Counsellor. Half of her caseload of clients come because they know their Enneagram type and want to work with it. She says this speeds up the process of therapy by years – and it’s especially effective for couples. She is on record as saying that knowing the Enneagram saved her marriage 25 years ago; she and Paul have been together for 44 years.
