Sanctuaries of Healing: Exploring Colorism

Sun Sep 27, 2026 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM MST Black River House, 85042

Back by popular demand, this extended Sanctuaries of Healing session provides an intimate, brave container for Black women to explore the nuances of colorism and its impact on identity, self-worth, and community.

Guided by Dr. A, participants will bridge research with real-life experiences—examining how colorism shows up in our daily lives, how geography (like living in Arizona or the U.S. in general) shapes our encounters, and how we can collectively challenge its impact to affirm our inherent worth.

Your Registration Includes:

  • Interactive guided dialogue and identity exploration
  • Dedicated fellowship time over a meal
  • An intimate, low-capacity setting designed for deep connection
  • A special take-home gift, curated for the September session.

Note: To maintain a meaningful dialogue, space is strictly limited to 15 participants. Early registration is strongly encouraged. All sales are final.
