Small Uncrewed Aerial Systems (sUAS) can pose a serious threat to organizations and facilities and can no longer be ignored.
Our C-UAS courses provide professionals with the knowledge and frameworks needed to incorporate the air domain into comprehensive security programs and make informed technology decisions. This intensive five-day course will be held 9am-5pm from Monday, October 20th to Friday, October 24th and covers:
Introduction to C-UAS Technology & Federal Law - This is a fast-paced foundational course that introduces the fundamental knowledge needed to understand Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS), including current United States law and legislation. 12 CPEs (In classroom/Final Exam)
Drone Vulnerability & Risk Assessment (DVRA) - This course provides the knowledge required to conduct a DVRA, offers a structured and actionable approach to the assessment, and reinforces these concepts through a comprehensive hands-on practical exercise. 28 CPEs (In classroom/Field/Final Presentation/Annex Development)
Lead Instructor
Bill Edwards, CPP, PSP, PCI, M.S., M.A., is Director of C-UAS training at ENSCO and a nationally recognized expert in counter-UAS operations, security strategy, and intelligence. With more than 35 years of experience across military, federal, and private sectors, Bill brings unmatched insight into operational and technical security, counterterrorism, and drone threat mitigation. He served as Director of Intelligence for the Theater Special Operations Command-North (USSOCOM), where he developed the “Blue Network”—a collaborative counterterrorism framework that unified efforts across DoD, law enforcement, and coalition partners.
Since retiring from the military in 2018, Bill has led security consulting groups, served as president of a federal technology firm, and contributed over 110 published articles on drone security and societal risk. He has advised city, state, and federal agencies, as well as organizations in critical infrastructure, healthcare, transportation, and sports security. A certified drone operator and ASIS board-certified security professional, Bill also teaches at The Citadel and the U.S. Air Force War College. He is the lead developer of ENSCO’s C-UAS training courses, known for combining mission-level realism with legal and operational relevance.
