ENSCO 9/11 Day of Service
On September 11, ENSCO will once again honor a solemn anniversary by coming together for the National Day of Service, also known as 9/11 Day. Each year, more than 30 million Americans commemorate this day by volunteering or pledging to do good deeds. A proud supporter of this national movement, ENSCO invites you to participate in this year’s service activities.
What to Expect
As part of the official Meal Pack for 9/11 Day campaign, employees can volunteer to help assemble nutritious, nonperishable meals for people facing food insecurity, including veterans and their families. These events are approximately two hours long and take place in the following U.S. cities that are near ENSCO office locations.
Denver @ Empower Field at Mile High 1701 Bryant Street - 1pm-3pm MST
Los Angeles @ The Frank Hotchkin Memorial Training Center, 1700 Stadium Way - 1pm-3pm PST
Orlando @ The Central Florida Fair, 4603 W Colonial Drive - 9am-11am EST
Washington, D.C. @ Walter E. Washington Convention Center (Exhibit Hall A) 801 Allen Y. Lew Place NW - 9am-11am EST
Volunteers join a two-hour shift at a reserved table, teaming up in groups of 12 to pack, seal, and box thousands of meals for people in need. Each shift starts with a short and meaningful program, including a moment of silence and a performance of “America the Beautiful.” From there, the energy rises as a live DJ kicks off the music and your team jumps into action. It’s fast-paced, fun, and deeply rewarding — a chance to make a real impact together.
Confirm your intent to participate by August 30th. Let your supervisor know once you register to coordinate scheduling. ENSCO will cover your registration fee, and our HR team can assist with any questions about timekeeping or expenses.
If you'd prefer to contribute another way, consider making a personal pledge to perform a good deed in your community and share your action on social media using the hashtag #IWillFor911Day.
Together, we can help turn a day of remembrance into a day of action, continuing our shared commitment to building a safer world for all.
Not Near a Listed City? No Action Required
Participation is voluntary and limited to the cities listed above. If you're not located near one of the sites, no further action is needed — we appreciate your support in spirit.
Thank you for helping ENSCO honor this important day through service and compassion!
