Workforce Development Training for Shortline and Passenger Railway Professionals at TTC
The Transportation Technology Center (TTC), operated by ENSCO, invites shortline and passenger railway professionals to participate in a specialized workforce development training program funded through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s CRISI Grant.
This free, three-day course combines classroom instruction in the morning and hands-on field training in the afternoon. Participants will learn how track components function together to support rail loads, how FRA inspection requirements are met, and how both visual and automated inspection systems are used in practice. Demonstrations at TTC will showcase manual inspections, turnout assessments, and comparative technologies for track evaluation.
