Hatched Composer Showcase

Hatched Composer Intensive brings together five emerging composers from around Australia for a week of workshops at the CORRIDOR Project in Cowra and a final concert at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music on November 12, with Ensemble Offspring’s core line up plus guest harpist Emily Granger. In 2022 the program has expanded to include online sessions with an impressive list of international collaborators including Brett Dean, Lisa Illean and Laura Bowler, culminating in the Summer School itself – an opportunity to create and form new relationships and shared experiences with peers and the Ensemble Offspring family.

Hatched Academy participants are the artistic and cultural leaders of the future, and in 2022 our composers are Lewis Mosley (NSW), Ceridwen McCooey (VIC), Andrea Guterres (NSW), Sean Quinn (VIC) and Alexander Voltz (QLD).
