In the Stepping Up series we have been speaking to environmental leaders that sit outside of philanthropy to explore how we step-up to the political, environmental and societal moment we are in. 

Henry Dimbleby is one of the UK's leading voices on food systems, health and sustainability. He co-founded and led the Leon restaurant chain up until 2021, known for its mission to make fast food taste good and do you good; as a UK government advisor he authored two independent reviews that have shaped national policy The School Food Plan (2013) and the National Food Strategy (2021); he co-authored of Ravenous (a Sunday Times best seller) and Nourishing Britain (a political manual for improving the nation's health); and co-founded and is currently Managing Partner of Bramble Partners, which invests in food businesses that take an active role in fixing the system. 

Henry's work brings sits at the intersection of two our EFN's streams of work, the new Food & Farming Funders Group, as well as, the Environmental Impact Investing Group (reach out to oscar@greenfunders.org if you'd like more information on either).
