Farming the Future is the UK's only pooled fund for agroecology. Since 2019 it has given out over £3.5million from 20 donors into collaborative work within the agroecology movement, helping to build the capacity for those working on a fairer food and farming system to pull together for long-term systems change.
Seven years on, Farming the Future has a lot of learning to share about the impact that funders collaborating on funding collaboration can have.
Come along to this engaging and interactive session to explore how to allocate money where the movement needs it, how to resource ecosystems, and the value of pooling funds to nourish the work in-between organisational strategies.
This webinar is hosted by the Food & Farming Funders Group, in conversation with Farming the Future’s Director, Bonnie Hewson.
The ambition of the Food and Farming Funders Group (FFFG), is to increase awareness and understanding among philanthropic funders of the need for greater and more long-term support for sustainable change within the UK food and farming system, leading to an increase in the amount, accessibility, coordination, collaboration, and sustainability of philanthropic funding being directed towards food and farming.
