Walton Backwaters Paddle

Walton & Frinton Sailing club have kindly opened up their club for another EOEPS event!

Come join us on the 2nd of August to paddle Walton Backwaters (& hopefully a sunset from the balcony!)

Tickets:

• £10 paddle only
• £15 paddle & burger (must book before noon 28th July, subject to availability)

Arrive 3pm or earlier, Briefing at 4pm, Launch shortly after

HT 6.15pm

The tide will be much lower than last year so please be mindful of the shallow muddy banks but it also might mean we see more seals 🤞🏽

We will arrive back at the club, pack down and change and then have our burgers if you wish to join us!!

The yacht club will have a bbq afterwards offering burgers for £5 (including vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options). Please add these when ordering.

Parking is at Walton and Frinton Yacht Club however if this parking is full please park in the public paid car park located at: Mill Lane Car Park, you pass it on your way into the club, which is 0.4 miles away. If needed, you can drop your stuff off at the sailing club then move your car to this location.

You may arrive earlier than 3pm if you wish to explore the local area or take advantage of the yacht clubs bar and restaurant when open.

As with all of our Paddles, PFDs and leashes must be worn, all craft are welcome to this paddle.

Times and paddle plan may changed due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
