Celebrate International Women’s Day as we explore this year’s theme of ‘Accelerate Action’ through the lens of leadership and allyship.
Join us for a keynote talk from Professor Lesley Yellowlees (CBE), former President of the Royal Society of Chemistry and their first woman President in 175 years, and Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
We will follow with a panel discussion with senior leaders across the University: Prof Muhammed Basheer (Executive Dean, EGIS), Prof Mark Biggs (Associate Principal, International & Partnerships), Prof Sara Lombardo (Executive Dean, MACS), Penny McIntyre (Global Director of HR), Prof Steve McLaughlin (Vice-Principal & Provost), Prof Fiona Robson (Head of School, SoSS Dubai), Prof Vicki Stone (Deputy Executive Dean, EPS). The panel will explore the role of leaders and allies in accelerating action for gender equality.

- When: Friday 7 March, 10am-12pm followed by a networking lunch from 12-1pm
