After the fullness of summer, The Return offers a chance to pause before stepping into autumn.
Whatever season of life you find yourself in, this retreat offers space to rest, reflect and reconnect with yourself before returning to everyday life with greater clarity, balance and steadiness.
Across the three days, you'll experience
- Time with horses, offering opportunities for presence, reflection and a different perspective
- 900 acres of private farmland to explore, walk and simply be in
- Delicious, nourishing food throughout the retreat
- A warm and supportive circle of women
- Guided land-based practices for reflection and renewal
- A massage treatment, included for those who would like one
- Time and space for your own reflection, rest and enquiry
Throughout the weekend, these experiences are gently woven together through facilitated group sessions, opportunities for solo enquiry and space to simply be.
Shared meals, meaningful conversation, time with horses, quiet moments and the natural rhythm of the land are all part of the weekend.
You'll have space to discern what is yours to tend and carry into the season ahead, and what can gently be laid down.
Held by experienced facilitators
The Return is facilitated by Harriet Hanmer, Caren Wynn-Owen and Laira Gold.
Together, we bring many years of experience in equine facilitation, coaching, psychotherapy, group facilitation and creating spaces for meaningful personal development.
We hold the retreat with care, presence and respect for each woman's individual experience.
Time with horses invites us to slow down, explore our relational patterns and see ourselves from a fresh perspective. Alongside them, we can deepen our understanding of ourselves, the way we relate to others and the world around us.
No horse experience is necessary and there is no riding involved. All horse encounters are facilitated on the ground and supported by experienced facilitators.
The Return is intentionally small, creating a warm, carefully held environment where each woman has space to be herself. Everything is offered as an invitation, with space to engage at her own pace.
Accommodation — camp or stay locally
Camping is included, but it is completely optional.
If you love being outdoors and want to sleep under the stars, you're very welcome to camp on the grounds. Please bring your own tent and sleeping equipment. Loos and showers are available on the grounds.
But camping is not for everyone - and you absolutely do not need to camp to be part of The Return.
Around half of our group are staying locally, so you'll be in good company if you choose this option.
For nearby accommodation options click here. Other local accommodation options include The Saracen's Head, Southwell and Southwell Glamping.
Local accommodation is not included in the retreat price, and you'll need to make your own arrangements to book.
Whichever option you choose, all meals and snacks are included in the retreat and available to you throughout the weekend.
If you're unsure which option would work best for you, please get in touch. We're very happy to have a chat and talk through the different possibilities: info@equilibrium-partners.com
