Explore and Protect Our Seas: Marine Conservation Talk & Tapas
As part of the 2026 IW Biosphere Festival, join us for an insightful and entertaining evening dedicated to the Isle of Wight and Solent’s coastal waters. Marine biologist and award-winning underwater photographer Theo Vickers will lead a discussion on our local marine life and its resilience against rising sea temperatures and pollution. Families can explore marine life first hand by joining on of Theo's informative and entertaining rockpool safaris.
Dive deeper and discover how to experience this underwater world yourself as Claire Kemp (Esprit Freedivers) and Ian Vallance (PADI Scuba Instructor) share details on freediving/scuba training and safaris. Your ticket includes a selection of tapas and refreshments, with all proceeds supporting vital marine conservation charities. All ages welcome. This event sold out quickly last year— buy your ticket today to help champion our Island’s unique marine biosphere.
PADI Certified Esprit Freedivers will be exploring the Seagrass Meadows at Seaview Toll Road on Saturday, 4th July - contact claire@espritfreedivers.com for more information
