This December, The Flight Before Christmas is coming in to land at the magical and historic St John the Baptist with Our Lady and St Laurence Church in Thaxted.

• 🎅 Visit Santa: 5:30pm–6:45pm (last admission 6:30pm)
• 🎶 Concert: 7:00pm–8:00pm approximately

Step inside this beautiful historic church and embrace the magic of the season with a wonderful blend of traditional Christmas carols, classical favourites, seasonal readings and poetry, performed by live musicians and accompanied by magical Christmas lighting to set the scene.

Throughout the evening, we’ll shine a light on the incredible work of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, offering a glimpse into a day in the life of the crew at Christmas and celebrating the people who remain ready to help others throughout the festive season.

Whether you come with family, friends or little ones eagerly awaiting Christmas, The Flight Before Christmas promises an uplifting evening filled with music, festive cheer and a little Christmas magic, all while supporting your local life-saving charity.

A little extra Christmas magic… 

Before the concert, our younger guests can enjoy an optional visit to Santa between 5:30pm and 6:45pm, with a special Christmas gift for every child with a children’s ticket.

Please note, last admission to visit Santa will be at 6:30pm, allowing everyone plenty of time to take their seats before the concert begins.

Festive refreshments included 

Festive refreshments are all part of the experience and are included with your concert ticket.

Enjoy a selection of seasonal drinks and treats, with Prosecco, warming mulled wine, soft drinks and other festive favourites on offer, alongside mince pies, cookies and festive nibbles.

Then take your seat, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the concert as Christmas music fills this spectacular historic setting.
