You are invited to join us at our Earls Colne Visitor Centre on one of our public Visitor Centre Tours hosted by our dedicated and knowledgeable volunteers. Our Visitor Centre Tours can accommodate up to 20 people and are free of charge, although we will share with you a variety of ways in which you can support the charity, thank you if you have already raised money for us - We can't fly without you!
Tours last up to two hours and include a mix of films, narrative and interactive features in the room. Our Earls Colne airbase is home to our McDonnell Douglas 902 Explorer helicopter which you will hopefully see, operations allowing.
Your visit will be hosted by volunteers who will be onsite especially to meet you. Therefore, please ensure you are committed to the date before booking. In the unlikely event you have to cancel it is really important that you get in touch asap so we can let our volunteers know. Please email vicky.mcgowan@ehaat.org and jane.morton@ehaat.org or ring on 07814 046117 (for late cancellations).
Our Earls Colne Visitor Centre is accessible by wheelchair. However, wheelchair users will need assistance from a member of our team to reach the disabled toilet. Our North Weald Visitor Centre is wheelchair friendly.
We have water on-site. For hot drinks and a wider range of refreshments, Norm & Debs Snack Bar is adjacent to the building, with further amenities in the vicinity. Please note that we have a gift shop and can take cash and card payments.
If the current dates on offer aren't any good for you, please check back at a later date as more dates are added all the time.
