B.O.O.M — BLACK ORIGIN OPEN MIC presents ROOTS & RISE

BOOM is back with a bang.

We’re opening our Black History Month series at NIAMOS, a fitting home for a night celebrating Black music, culture and community.

ROOTS & RISE explores the evolution of music of Black origin — tracing the sounds, pioneers and artists that helped take Black music from its roots to its rise.

Expect a blend of soul, reggae, jazz, gospel and more, alongside live performances, open mic energy, fun facts and quiz rounds inspired by the people, moments and musical connections that shaped the culture.

The night brings past and present into the same room: celebrating those who laid the foundations while creating space for the artists writing the next chapter.
