This half-day class is perfect for anyone looking to build confidence in colouring textured hair.

You’ll watch a live demonstration on a head block, led by an expert educator who will share curl specific colouring techniques including hand-painting and foiling. The session will focus on how to place and apply colour specifically for textured hair, and how this process differs from colouring straight hair. 

A great introduction for those new to working with textured hair or looking to expand their skills.

Patty is a textured hair specialist with over 15 years of industry experience, including the past 13 years dedicated exclusively to working with this hair type.

Originally from Brazil, a country rich in diversity and natural hair culture, Patty has developed a deep understanding of all curl patterns from waves to tight coils. Her career includes years as an educator for a leading professional curl brand where she delivered education and trained stylists across Brazil.

As a woman with Afro-textured hair, Patty’s journey began from a personal need to understand and care for her own hair in an industry where this knowledge was often overlooked. This experience shaped not only her expertise, but also her mission.

With 16 years’ experience in the hairdressing industry, Chelsi brings a dynamic mix of creativity, skill, and real-world salon expertise. As a former owner of a busy, fast-paced salon, Chelsi understands how to deliver both exceptional results and meaningful client experiences.
